Kaylee Steck is a master’s student in the Georgetown Center for Contemporary Arab Studies. She recently returned from Morocco, where she was leading a summer culture and language immersion program for high school students. Kaylee was awarded a Fulbright student research grant to conduct research in Morocco between 2014 and 2015. Her research focused on retail development and challenges facing small shop owners in Meknes.
