Prea Persaud is a doctoral candidate in religion at the University of Florida. She has an M.A. in religion from Syracuse University and a B.A. from Rollins College. Her current research is on Hinduism in the Caribbean and the development of Indo-Caribbean identities.
Research Interests:
Global Hinduism, religion in the Caribbean, race, identity, and post-colonialism.
