Dai Newman is a PhD student in Religion at Syracuse University. He holds previous degrees in linguistics (Brigham Young University), library and information studies (University of Alberta), and comparative literary and cultural studies (University of Utah). His current work focuses on the portrayal of idealized Mormon masculinity in films.
